My name is Stephanie White, better known simply as "Soup." Growing up in rural Illinois and a creative mind, I began drawing inspiration from surrealistic masters such as Rene Magritte and Salvador Dali as a child. I was always drawing dystopian spaces filled with humanoid forms, which I began translating into paintings and taking more seriously in high school.

I went on to gain a specific interest in psychology, in which case I ended up prominently intertwining with my artistic concepts. This was especially notable as I went to Eastern Illinois University to earn my Bachelor of Fine Arts in Studio Art (emphasis in painting & printmaking) and psychology. Throughout my college years and for the time after, I was live painting at small to large scale events mostly around Chicago in partnership with Notion Presents and Swampwoofer Productions. Since beginning my live painting journey in 2017, I have live painted at over 100 events, including Summer Camp Music Festival, Solar & Lunar Tide Music Festival, large scale curated events, and many more.

I find so much pleasure by inviting event attendees to participate in my life painting performances and really making it a collaborative piece no matter what. Since moving to Southern California in 2020, I've began planting myself into the close knit art scene around San Diego while I continue to take on new murals, live painting bookings, and gain more knowledge regarding digital art and collaborative projects.
