Even though I call Oceanside and North County San Diego my home, I was born in Peru, and have always felt a deep rooted connection to my culture. The first thing I remember experiencing as a child was an unwavering sense of wonder. The earth, people, life, it all seemed to buzz with some form of magic I couldn't quite pin down. This curiosity took me through my bachelors in Aerospace Engineering, finally coming to terms that I wanted to explore different options. I now teach surfing, love to grow and source gourmet mushrooms, and enjoy spreading joy by putting to canvas what I feel in my heart.
