I am a San Diego based artist. I have my BFA in Animation and began my professional art career working in the feature film industry as a 3D artist. Therefore, film an tv greatly inspire my paintings. I often take a concept, theme, or aesthetic from a movie or tv show and adapt it to create a whimsical surrealist scene. Being a 3D/digital artist is an essential part of what makes my process so unique. To create my painting concepts I build out ideas in 3D first and then use digital drawing tools to plan my colors. I love creating fantasy scenes that transport the viewer to a world of wonder. My aesthetic can be described as vibrant hues, intricate details, and dreamlike soft elements, that result in mesmerizing compositions.
